Will editing the business name restrict my ad account?

A change on its own is normal. Avoid changing name, country and payment details all on the same day.

Do the details need to match my card?

The payment method should belong to the business or the account owner. The billing address does not have to be the same as the registered address.

Business portfolio details do not match your company documents

Yes, you can edit them. An admin with full control can change the legal business name, address, phone and website in Business settings, under Business info. Make them match your registration documents exactly before you start or redo verification, because mismatched details are a common reason verification fails.

What to compare

Steps

Log in as an admin with full control of the business portfolio.
Open Business settings, then Business info.
Edit each field to match your documents.
Save, then check the page again to see the change stuck.
Start verification from Security Center with documents that show the same details.

If you cannot edit the details

You may not have full control. Ask another admin, or see who owns your ad account.
Some fields lock while verification is in progress. Wait for the result first.
If the portfolio belongs to an old company, see business portfolio after a company sale.
