My business portfolio is restricted: which ad accounts can I still save?

This is about ownership. Ad accounts the portfolio owns are locked with it, but accounts owned by a client or partner and only shared with you can keep running from their owner's side. Sort the list first, then request the review.

Do this now

  1. In Business settings, open Ad accounts and note the owner of each.
  2. Tell owners of shared accounts so they can keep advertising from their portfolio.
  3. Export reports and invoices from every account you can open.
  4. Request a review on your portfolio in Account Quality.
  5. Do not move or re-share accounts while the review is open.

What to write

To a client: "Our business portfolio is restricted. Your ad account [ID] is owned by your portfolio, so you can keep advertising. Remove our access if you prefer while we sort this out."
