Business portfolio ownership after a company sale

When a business is sold, the Meta business portfolio does not move by itself. The seller's admins must add the buyer's people as admins, then step back. Put this in the sale agreement, and verify the portfolio with the new owner's documents once the legal details change.

Steps

List every ad account, Page, pixel and Instagram account in the portfolio.
Seller adds the buyer's admins with full control.
Buyer turns on two-factor for every admin.
Seller removes their own access.
Update business details and verification.

Who hands over admin access and when.
Which assets are included.
Who pays outstanding ad balances.

If the seller will not cooperate

Use Meta's request for full control with documents showing the business is yours.
