What documents are used?

Government ID for a person, official registration for a business. The names must match.

Missed a Meta security or verification request

If you missed a request to confirm your identity or business and the account is now restricted, look for the request in Account Quality and the Meta notifications, then complete it there. If the time window has closed, request a review. Ignore emails or messages asking you to verify through an outside link.

Notifications in Facebook and Meta Business Suite.
Security and login in Accounts Center.

Steps

Log in from a device you have used before.
Open Account Quality and look for an open request.
Complete it with documents in the same name as the account or business.
If there is only a review button, request a review.
Turn on two-factor if it was off.

Watch for fakes

Real requests show inside Meta's own pages. Messages with outside links, deadlines and threats are phishing. See hacker changed the email on your Meta login.
