Cannot get a login code after changing your phone number

If your two-factor codes go to an old phone number, you can be locked out of the profile that controls your ad account. Use a saved recovery code, a trusted device or a backup admin first, then follow Meta's recovery flow.

Try in this order

A recovery code you saved when you turned on two-factor.
A phone or browser that is already logged in.
A backup login method listed on the login screen.
The identity flow Meta offers if none work.

Meanwhile

Ask a backup admin on the business portfolio to keep ads running and check payments. That is one reason to have a second admin.

Afterwards

Update the phone number, save new recovery codes and add a second admin.
