Why it happens
- The Facebook profile or portfolio already had a restriction.
- The login was new on both accounts at the same time.
- The Instagram account had an older warning that the link brought up.
Steps
- Use the appeal option on the disabled notice in the Instagram app.
- Log in to Facebook and check Account Quality for the profile and the portfolio.
- Turn on two-factor on both.
- Wait for the Instagram decision before linking again.
- When both are clear, link from the business portfolio, not from a personal profile.
