Steps
- Use the hacked account flow in the Instagram Help Center.
- Remove the Instagram account from the portfolio until it is secured.
- Check the ad account for ads you did not create.
- Remove the card with your bank if it was used.
- Report the fraud nationally if money was lost.
After you are back in
- Change the password and turn on two-factor.
- Check the email and phone on the account.
- Remove unknown apps.
