Common offers and the risk
| Offer | Risk |
|---|---|
| Rent an ad account or agency account | You do not own it. It can be shut off, and your pixel is now linked to it. |
| Aged or verified profiles for sale | Buying accounts breaks Meta's rules. Profiles like these are often restricted soon after. |
| A contact at Meta who can restore you | No one outside Meta can make the decision. Requests for login codes or fees are a scam sign. |
| A card that will not get flagged | Payment method is not the only signal. A new card does not lift a restriction. |
What to do instead
- Request a review on the disabled ad account from Account Quality.
- Check whether your profile or portfolio is restricted too.
- Keep running organic posts, email and your site while you wait.
- If you shared a login code or password with anyone, change it now and see gave a login code to someone claiming to be Meta.
Protect the business while you wait
- Turn on two-factor authentication for every admin.
- Remove partners and apps you do not recognise from Business settings.
- Do not add anyone to your business portfolio because they messaged you.
Official sources
