Profile banned in the EU: dispute routes for advertisers

If your Facebook profile is disabled and you are in the EU, you can appeal inside Meta and, for many decisions, take it to a certified out-of-court dispute settlement body. Your ad accounts stay blocked while the profile is down, so add a backup admin to the business portfolio from another trusted person.

Steps

  1. Appeal the profile decision from the notice.
  2. Save the statement of reasons.
  3. Ask another trusted admin to keep the business running.
  4. If the appeal fails, consider a certified dispute body.
  5. Keep a log with dates.

What not to do

Do not make a new profile to get around the ban. That can lead to more bans.

Official sources

Meta changes its help pages, menus and forms often. Follow the wording on your own screen and the current Help Center. Restore Ad Account is an independent service and is not affiliated with Meta.
