Restarting ads after an ad account is restored

After a restored ad account, start with what already worked, at a lower budget, and change one thing at a time. Check that the payment method, Page, pixel and admins are still the ones you expect. Large changes on the first day can draw the same checks again.

Before the first campaign

  1. Confirm the payment method and clear any balance.
  2. Check admins and partner access in Business settings.
  3. Check the pixel or dataset is still connected and receiving events.
  4. Read the restriction reason again and fix the ad, page or landing page it named.

First week

Keep notes

Save the restore date, the reason and what you changed. If anything comes back, the notes help a new review.

Official sources

Meta changes its help pages, menus and forms often. Follow the wording on your own screen and the current Help Center. Restore Ad Account is an independent service and is not affiliated with Meta.
